Captain: George Kordas (Greek)
Captain George was born in 1956 and holds an A' class diploma after having graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses. He has been serving the yachting industry onboard charter yachts for more than twenty five years and he has been with the same Owners for the last 8 years. In his previous experience, he has worked on tanker ships and commercial vessels. In his free time he likes cycling, jogging and sports. Captain George is a very kind person who will do his best for an unforgettable cruise onboard! He speaks English and basic Spanish.
Engineer: George Adamidis (Greek)
George was born in 1989 and he is a Greek national. He has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and holds an engineer diploma. He has worked on various commercial and passenger ships before joining yachting. His previous yachts among others are M/Y Carmen Fontana, M/Y Jazz, M/Y Meteor etc. He serves onboard M/Y GIOE I with great professionalism. George is a very kind and enthusiastic person with passion for the sea. His hobbies are scuba diving, bodybuilding, sailing and literature. He speaks fluent English and basic Italian.
Chef: Penelope Antonopoulou (Greek)
Penelope holds a Chef's diploma and has attended many seminars such as “International Cuisines”, “Preparation and Presentation Mediterranean Menu” etc. In her past experience, she has worked onboard cruise ships and motor yachts and joined Gioe I in 2018. Penelope prepares delicious dishes with fresh ingredients and offers authentic traditional aromas and tastes from the famous Greek cuisine as well as the international ones. She enjoys reading and she speaks English.
Steward: Manolito Bais (Philippino)
Manolito was born in 1970 and he has a bachelor degree in Business Administration. He started working in hospitality however soon after he moved to yachting industry where he gained valuable experience on board various yachts such as M/Y Danny B and M/Y Sunday. Manolito is a multitasking and skilled person offering silver services onboard M/Y Gioe I with a big smile. He combines experience and a lovely character that makes him a valuable asset for the yacht. He speaks English, Greek and Tagalog (native).
Deckhand: Ilias Villiotis (Greek)
Ilias was born in 1990 and he is attending the Maritime Academy to obtain the Captain C diploma. He holds a speedboat license and an offshore sailing school diploma. He has been working on private and charter yachts for the last 5 years and joined Gioe I ‘s crew in 2020. He is a great team player with a reliable, confident and dedicated nature; he will work miracles during charters to make sure that the guests will feel like home onboard! His hobbies are sports, music and art. Ilias speaks fluent English.
