CAPTAIN: Paolo Stagno, born in Palermo in 1989, Engineer on My Lotty for the past 3 years, he has been an excellent support and assistant for the whole period of refitting of the vessel, in order to acquire a full and complete knowledge of any technical detail.
Graduated in Business Economics at the University of Palermo and has been cruising on sailing and powerboats since he was a child. Over the last 4 years he has been working as First Officer on yachts from 15 to 30 meters long, selected by BR1 Yacht Management, with excellent results. First year on WHALE, he has been already collaborating with the rest of the crew, during the winter Crew Courses in Malta with BR1 Management. He comes from a family, all fond of yachting and sea. His sister is considered one of the best Stewardess and Sailor, working on a professional charter vessel as well.
He speaks English and Italian.
CHEF: Pierluigi Principe
Pierluigi, born in Palermo, is a very skilled and experienced Chef. He has been Owner of his own Restaurant for several years. 3 years ago, thanks to his passion for the sea, he discovered that it was possible to find a position as Chef onboard of yachts, in the charter business. In the past 3 years he has created a tight collaboration with BR1 Management, working on different yachts, such as MY Lotty (Benetti 27 mts) and the catamaran Hyera. This is his third season on Whale, under the new Ownership, and he is very eager to pamper his guests with a wide choice of Mediterranean recipes, revised with unforgettable personal touches. Healthy cuisine, great presentations and use of fresh and local product with lot of fantasy.
STEWARDESS-DECKHAND: Chiara La Loggia
Chiara is a sunny lady, with extraordinary interpersonal and organization skills. Highly motivated, she is an efficient and reliable crew Member, very communicative and attentive to details. After completing her degree at the Arts Institute in Palermo, she decided to pursue a career in the yachting. She started her collaboration with BR1 Management, in Malta, working either as Stewardess or as Chef on different size vessels. She loves sea, sports, reading, traveling and has a particular capability to create a good feeling among the crew and to relate with guests. She speaks Italian, English.
