George Sarakos - Captain
Captain George is 55 years old; he is a graduate of the Greek Merchant Marine Academy and started his professional career in 1996. Since then he has been travelling on board various types of merchant and passenger vessels until he turned into Yachting in 2001. Throughout these years he has gained experience on sailing, familiarizing with International Regulations, ISM and ISPS implementation, cooperating with other nationalities, as crew members or shore based personnel and grew up a great respect for the sea. He has offered his services onboard various motor yachts such as M/Y Wave runner, M/Y Ilina, M/Y Iris, M/Y Shine, M/Y Diamond S, M/Y Expert and M/Y Blue Sky. Safety and customer service are always on top of his priorities. He is a great commander with excellent communication skills. With a long background in Private & Charter Yachts George offers exclusive tailor made cruises with attention to detail. He speaks English and in his free time he enjoys scuba diving and water sports.
Epameinondas Katsanos - Engineer
Epameinondas was born and raised in Piraeus. He holds an Engineer Certificate and very quickly became head of the engine room going on voyages all around the world. Having experience on charter yachts, he sees to the smooth running of the engines with total diligence while helping at the same time on the deck. He is very hard working, meticulous and always ready to lend a hand. He has a pleasant and responsible personality, and ensures that every system works and is maintained to the highest standard for the safety of all guests. Epameinondas speaks English and holds a RYA level 2 speed boat license.
Nikos Lagoudis - Chef
Nikos was born and raised in Greece. He holds a bachelor degree in accounting however his passion was always cooking so he followed his dream and attended the Le Monde cooking school. After gaining his diploma in Chef- Professional food production he has continued growing his knowledge of the Mediterranean cuisine by attending numerous seminars. He started his career working in Luxury hotels and restaurants in Greece and United Kingdom next to Michelin award winning chefs. He specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, French, Japanese, Vegan etc. He is passionate with cooking and his delicious and nourishing recipes will make your trip unforgettable. Nikos speaks fluent English.
Maria Kalle – Chief Stewardess
Maria is 27 years old and a Greek national. In her past experience she has worked in luxurious hotels in Mykonos and has also served onboard private and charter yachts. She is a great asset to the team of Obsesion with her calm nature and her excellent hospitality skills. She is organized and talented and knows how to make guests feel at home and fulfill their wishes with a smile. She speaks English and at her free time she enjoys photography and cooking.
Rose Pena - 2nd Stewardess
Rose was born in 1971 and she is a Philippines national. Her experience in hospitality industry has taught her how to easily step into many roles, work hard and keep things looking at the detail. She offers silver service to all guests onboard M/Y Obsesion, ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable and comfortable time. She is very social and positive, bringing always a friendly smile. Her hobbies are swimming and cooking. She speaks English.
Gary Piramide - Deck Hand
He was born in the Philippines and entered the world of the ocean at a very young age. He has graduated from a Marine High School in Manila and since then has worked on commercial ships as bosun while for the last eleven years he has been in the yachting field. Not only is he pleasant, hardworking and very responsible in his job he is also very careful with the safety of the yacht. He speaks English, Greek and Filipino.
Efthimis Makropoulos - Deck Hand
Efthimis is a Greek national and started his career at the sea at a very young age working onboard commercial and passenger vessels. He holds a speed boat license. Not only is he pleasant, hardworking and very responsible in his job he is also very careful with the safety of the yacht. He speaks English and his hobbies are fishing and sports.
