Valentin: My home growing up was a 52ft sailing yacht. I have logged over 60,000 nautical miles sailing many countries such as New Caledonia, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Europe, the Caribbean and the USA. My University background of Naval Architecture gives me a great understanding of the running of boats and also having lived on boats most of my life. I am very patient and love to teach water activities such as wake boarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, diving, snorkeling, fishing and spear fishing, free diving, sailing tricks and rope work. These too are all my hobbies.
Catherine and I met 3 years ago in the South France when we were yacht neighbors. We have since traveled extensively and worked together on a 110ft Catamaran. Our different personalities complement each other well. We are a fun, dynamic and professional team couple, aiming to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Catherine: I am passionate about cooking, yoga, alternative medicines and travel. I cook a variety of cuisines, preferring always to attempt its healthier version and with seasonal food. Having worked on super yachts for well over 5 years, I continue to revel in the people I get to meet and learning the traditions and customs of the local people where I travel. Initially working larger super yachts as a masseuse, yoga teacher and crew cook , I now prefer to work one smaller vessels with my partner where I get to expand my passion for cooking and provide a more personal experience.
Lucy (Host): When Lucy first arrived in the BVI she fell in love with the place and its people. She is determined to make our guests feel welcome, feel like they are home. Just like everyone made her feel when she first arrived. She is looking forward to sharing this experience with you! Three words to describe her, positive, passionate and kind. Rest assured you will be in good hands.
