Captain - John Karavas (Greek)
Captain John is 47 years old and holds a Captain Class B’ degree from the “Nautical College of Kimis” as well as an Engineer B’ Class diploma. He has been working on luxury charter yachts for the past 9 years and spent 27 years on large passenger vessels and cargo ships. Cpt. John has been onboard the MI ALMA since 2018, showing guests some of the unique hidden gems of Greece. He and will make sure that all technical equipment onboard is running smoothly. Cpt. John has warm smile and sincere dedication to his job makes guests feel welcome and well taken care of while onboard. In his free time John enjoys fishing.

Chief Engineer – Kumara Amarasekara Arachilage (Sinhalese)
Kumara is 42 years old and holds an Engineer B’ Class diploma. He has been working on luxury charter and private yachts for the past 27 years, ranging is sizes up to 65 meters. He also holds certificates in Lifesaving, firefighting, personal safety, and first aid. Kumara is polite and hardworking and will make sure that all technical equipment onboard is running smoothly. In his free time Kumara enjoys playing cricket.

Chef – Kiriakos Kioroglou (Greek)
Kiriakios was born in 1954. He gained his chef degree from EHL group in Lausanne, Switzerland and since 2004 has been working as head chef on board luxury charter & private yachts, ranging from 25-70m. Kiriakos took an absence from the sea between 2013-2017, to be closer to home, where he was head chef at REA maternity in Athens. Having missed the sea, Kiriakos in 2018 retuned to working onboard luxury yachts where he was head chef of a private 55m yacht for 2 years and now has happily joined the crew of MI ALMA. Kiriakos has an excellent knowledge of the Mediterranean and International cuisine creating dishes to be enjoyed by all guests. In his free time, Kiriakos, enjoys reading, walking, drawling and creating arts & crafts.

Chief Stewardess– Ourania Poulopoulou (Greek)
Ourania is 44 years old with over years of experience working as a Chief Stewardess on board luxury charter yachts of 30, 40 and 60 meters. She began working from the age of 20 as a hostess in restaurants which eventually lead her to luxury charter yachts. Ourania is a dynamic, dedicated, and communicative person, who works well as a team player. She is an organizer by nature and has great enthusiasm and attention to detail with a drive and love for what she does. Her passion is interior design and when she is not onboard she is busy creating new spaces in houses and offices. She brings this love of décor and design with her onboard MI ALMA, continuously creating an ambiance of surprise for guests. Ourania is athletic in nature and in her free time she enjoys different sports including swimming. Ourania looks forward to welcoming guests on board the MI ALMA.

Stewardess– Despina Fotaki (Greek)
Despina is 43 years old and has over 9 years of experience as a stewardess and chef on board luxury charter yachts. Despina is also a graduate of Le Monde (Culinary School of Athens) and prior to working on board yachts she owned and ran her own catering business. Despina has great enthusiasm and attention to detail with a drive and love for what she does. In her free time she enjoys race car driving, partaking in sailing races (she holds a 1st place title) as well as jet skiing and snowboarding.

Sailor – Mustafa Kamal (Bangladesh)
Mustafa is 39 years old. He has spent over 13 years working on private and charter yachts of 20-35 meters. Mustafa has a friendly demeanor with a large smile which will make guests feel at ease in his presence. Mustafa is extremely hard working and dedicated to his job and guests will find him keeping the exterior of the yacht in perfect condition. Mustafa loves traveling and interacting with people.
