Captain - Ümit Å?ahin
He was born on 1985 in Bodrum. He started his sea life with an Optimist small which is an amateur sailboat at a young age. After graduating from the Bodrum Maritime School, he started to work as a professional on S/Y Nostalgia. After a year, he worked on M/Y Efya for two years as master, then worked on S/Y Exenos4 for seven years. During his career, he traveled nearly all the Greek islands from coast to coast and he has traveled the Caribbean Sea and cruised from Turkey to Greece, Albania, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, and Malta. Activities that he enjoys in his personal life are free diving, windsurfing, water sports, fishing, and snorkeling. He began to work as captain in 2006. In 2010, he made his first acquaintance with Mia 1 and continues today as her captain.
Sarkan Ar - Chef
Chef Sarkan Ar was born in 1987 and he started his maritime career in 2013, initially on a sailing yacht for three years followed by two years on a motor yacht. Chef Ar has been a cook for eleven years and is proud of his expertise preparing grilled meat and vegetable dishes and fresh seafood dishes.
Mustafa Çelik - First Officer
He was born on 1993 in Bodrum. His marine life started on classic charter gullets working for six years. Then, he has continued his maritime life with MIA 1 for the last four years in a row as a professional. He is known by his smile and helpful personality. His personal interest areas are water sports, reading books, fitness, and nature walking.
Cenk Karakaya - Steward
He was born on 1976 in Hamburg, Germany. His maritime training started after the school graduation. His professional marine life started in the charter sector with the classic Bodrum Gullet in the Pegasus yacht company, then known as the Vigo yacht company. He has continued his maritime life with MIA 1 for the last 3 years. His personal interest areas are water sports, reading historical books, and amateur photography. According to feedback from guests on MIA 1, the smile on his face never disappears.
