Captain Robert Bayne
Captain Bob has over 20 years of experience in the yachting industry working with long standing owners for many years. Proven longevity in this ever-changing industry is something he values very highly. Bob has been a yacht captain and project manager overseeing the construction of yachts in Italy, Spain and local Florida shipyards. With a background in high end construction, Bob also has strong mechanical skills, being a hands-on captain with a positive attitude. Bob has extensive experience in cruising almost anywhere in the world. His travels have included the North and South Pacific Oceans, Panama Canal, US East and Gulf Coasts, the Great Lakes, Bahamas, Caribbean and the Mediterranean waters. Captain Bob prides himself with having great people skills, offering five-star service and anticipating guests needs ahead of time. Once on board it is easy to see that Bob enjoys what he does and is hardworking and energetic. During time off you will find him fishing, surfing, windsurfing and snorkeling. Captain Bob and his crew look forward to welcoming you on board DREAM.
First Mate Adam Craton
Adam has a diversified skill set ranges from working and fixing things in the engine room to rigging your bait and assisting with fishing. Adman is an accomplished and energetic fisherman and was a fishing guide in Mudjin Harbor, Caicos for a few years at the Blue Horizon Resort. Adam also has experience with planning guest activities, guests service and boat excursions to take guests to beautiful spots to enjoy the turquois water. Yachting lured him to seek out employment in the industry and start a new adventure. Adam returned to Florida and secured a job onboard and has been in the yachting industry for a decade now. Adam is a team player and will assists wherever a hand is needed.
Chief Stewardess Emilie Olivier Kennedy
Emilie is French with a great eye for detail and service. Emilie has years of experience in the hospitality industry working in French restaurants. The standards were high and the clientele elect. Prior to joining the yachting world, she studied in France and Australia and has a Diploma in Advertising, Marketing, English Business and a degree in Trade and Marketing. She decided to travel and stepped on board a 75’ yacht in the Caribbean back in 2007. She worked as a chef/ stewardess and has never looked back. Emilie has worked on various charter and private yachts and loves to plan and execute a perfect dinner party, create a wonderful afternoon with drinks and the perfect sunset, or set the scene for relaxation and privacy on board. Emilie enjoys interactions with her guests and will be ready to serve you with a smile.
Chef Luis Rafael Hurtado (aka Chef Raffie)
Chef Raffie style can be define as “Latin Cross Over”. Originally from Venezuela and a graduate from the Cordon Bleu cooking school in Ottawa, Chef Raffie has done internships in Spain, Italy, North America, Asia, South America and the west coast of the United States. Globalization, travel and cross-cultural experiences has influenced his style. Thus, he has developed awareness in cooking in tune with the environment and the seasons. He also developed a strong believe that we should eat to heal. Food consumed in the right way will nurture, heal you, and beautified you. We should eat to live not live to eat. As Hippocrates said, "let the food be the medicine and the medicine be the food". Chef Raffie is constantly evolving and adopting new cooking methods that are in tune with the ever-changing demand of the clients He cook for but always keeping its origins and tradition alive. If you don't stay in tune with tradition you can't evolve into the future. In other words, his mission is to find Ingredients from around the world and a sustainable way to apply French technique, glamorized them with Italian know how and influenced by the actual state of affairs of modern diet. Aware that the factory farm is the most abominable way in which animals are raise today, he is always in constant pursue of organic ingredients wherever in the world He can find himself cooking. Chef Raffie also promotes the family farm and the humane way to raise and consume animal products. Early in his career Chef Raffie discovered that travel can be used as an educational tool while simultaneously enhancing his repertoire. With Chef Raffie’s cuisine the client will always discover new and exciting dishes that will transform every meal into a culinary adventure. Chef Raffie is looking forward to cook and surpass all your culinary expectations.
