Captain Umit has 12 years of experience in the yachting industry since his childhood. He holds a Master’s License (permitted to command all types of yachts with limited to 500 GRT all over the world). He has been the first captain of M\Y MOANNAII since she is launched. Before joining M\Y MOANNAII, he has worked on several luxury private&charter yachts and wellknown 47m gulet CARPE DIEM IV as well. He has cruised extensively through the East Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea. Turkish coast and the Greek Islands (Cyclades & Dodecanese) are his favorite cruising grounds. Captain Umit knows the secluded bays where guests can enjoy the fantastic surroundings or can find perfectly calm waters and safest exclusive anchorages. As a captain, he is in charge of the safety of all persons on board. He has the overall command, oversees the crew duties and the yacht’s itinerary. He runs his crew with precision and takes great pleasure in ensuring that his charter guests have the best possible charter.

Mert has over five experience working both on several cargo ships and recently joined to MoannaII as engineer. He has worked as oiler ,engineer ,second engineer and chief engineer on commercial ships over 100 meters. He has cruised through the Mediterranean,Black Sea,Marmara Sea ,Indian Ocean and Red Sea. He is in charge of the engine room units’ engines, generators, electrical power , air-condition units, tender engines , entertainment systems and all of the yacht’s other technical matters and he also covers the deckhand position. He holds a 3000kw engineer licence in all seas.

She is graduated from Marmaris Sabanci High School and then finished Culinary School and after that she has started to work in Cafes as a snack kitchen chef and started her career at several five start hotels such as L’Etoile,Angel’s Peninsula,La Blanche ,Kempinski Bodrum .She has worked as a chef de partie for two hotels in Russia from 2014 to 2015. After that she has worked in Mandarin Oriental Bodrum as demi chef de partie and continued working in five star hotels such as Caressa A Luxury Collection Hotel&Hilton Sarigerme Hotel.She specializing in Turkish,Italian & Mediterranean cuisine. After gaining this experience, she moved to yachting and has worked on several luxury private/charter yachts. Before joining M-Y MOANNAII, she has worked on motor yacht U2 , motor yacht Broadway and motoryacht HD. She has also a wide knowledge of a la carte cuisine from around the world. She has a special feeling for pastry and likes to shop local markets to find the best and fresh products.. Zeynep is not only an excellent chef, but her pleasant and social character is an extra asset to the professional team of MOANNAII.

Buse has graduated from Maritime Faculty and started to work on commercial yachts in East Med, her first experience was on a 32mt charter yacht White Swan. She sailed all Adriatic Sea such as Montenegro ,Albania and Croatia. Dubrovnik and Kotor is her favorite destinations. She has good knowledge of silver service, setting table and housekeeping . She has been also experienced in yacht agency services and worked in a yacht agency responsible for shore operations of a 91mt well-known commercial yacht MoonLightII. Sea is her passion and she is keen to learn all duties onboard to become a captain. Buse is an energic , self –motivated and very friendly person dedicated to provide a 5* service to yacht’s guests and taking care of any quest special requirements. She is responsible for dining service, welcoming on board, guest relations, appearance and cleanliness of all interior areas.
