Captain Igor grew up in Sibenik (Croatia), a small town situated in the picturesque bay where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic Sea. Growing up in this environment, his affection towards the sea and boats led him to join the Maritime School and explore the seven seas at a young age. Igor has worked on a range of motor yachts and vessels from 20m to 250m cruising worldwide.Today, after seeing all the oceans of the world, Igor has been furthering his journey with M.Y. MERCURY, creating holiday of a lifetime for his guests. Captain Igor has been onboard M/Y MERCURY for last 9 years, exploring the warm waters of the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean.

First Mate - Mihael Miche Mratinovic - Croatian
Miche comes from Peljesac peninsula which has a strong maritime tradition and where his family are well-known wine makers.
Although Mihael graduated in Accounting & Finance, he decided to follow the tradition of his city - he changed his career path and graduated from Maritime college, to become a seaman.He has passion for sports and loves travelling, but also finds enjoyment in the kitchen – he’s a master of cooking.


Chief Engineer –Rosen Aleksandrov –Bulgarian
Rosen comes from the city of Varna in Bulgaria.
He started working within the engine department from the bottom of the hierarchy as a wiper and made his way to the top position as a Chief Engineer.He graduated from the Naval academy in Varna and for the last 9years he’s been working on Grand Class cruise ships.
Just recently he joined the yachting industry, exploring new horizons and finding new challenges.In his free time, Rosen enjoys snorkeling and working on cars.

Chief Steward – Daniel Maluleka – South African

Daniel not only comes with an enthusiastic personality, but a highly positive attitude that transmits to the rest of the crew and the guests. As your Chief Steward and with a hospitality background spanning 10 years, high quality service is what you can expect in abundance. He leads the Interior team with all aspects of the Interior
Operations. Daniel is also here for all necessary liaisons to ensure your stay onboard is a truly memorable one.
Your go to man for sure.

Chef - Tommaso Santoni – Italian

All your culinary wishes shall be met by our experienced master of the galley Tommaso, all the way from Florence.
Mediterranean cuisine is in his roots and even though he might have a slight bias for all food Italian, he considered himself a Modern Mediterranean chef and loves to keep things interesting with new and exciting dishes ranging from French to Spanish, to Mexican, to Eastern. His sole mission is to keep you salivating for more in any way he can.
Tommaso says that working for the best chefs around the world taught him how to take the best from the ingredients and transform them into delicious meals.He has great passion for food and he’s learning continuously.


2nd Engineer – Mario Vujasinovic – Croatian
Mario comes from Zadar, and ever since he can remember, he has the affinity for watersports and sailing.
So, besides the love of improving and fixing broken machines, he graduated from Nautical school in Zadar to become an engineer and decided to pursue his career in yachting in 2017.
He’s a helping hand to all the crew and guests with any electrical or engineering issues they might have and you can often see him tinkering around the boat.
Mario loves cars and boats and, naturally, traveling around the world.


Bosun – Maroje Godinovic – Croatian

Maroje is coming from Split (Croatia), a city by the sea, He graduated the Civil Engineering college, but decided to go different ways. At the age of 5 he was “dropped” into the swimming pool and then, after 15 years of hard work, he came out as a professional swimmer, water polo player, swimming coach, being familiar with other different sport activities as
well. He loves to travel a lot, meet different people and discover new places.


Deckhand – Mateo Ledenko – Croatian
Mateo comes from Sibenik, a small town in the central Dalmatia, on the coast.
Before he started sailing, he lived in Germany for a few years, working for BMW, Audi & Mercedes in car parts making department.
He loves cars and bikes and works on them in his free time.
Mateo worked on a sailboat for 2 seasons and for 2 years in the marina in Sibenik.
He then transitioned into yachting where he found his place among the crew of M/Y MERCURY.

Stewardess –Marija Vukovic – Montenegrin
Marija comes from the city of Niksic in Montenegro.
Living close to the sea her whole life, she naturally developed a love for water and sailing, which led her to her fist stint on a yacht back in 2012.
Since then she’s come a long way and now works as a 2ndStewardess, the right hand to the Chief stew.She's always smiling and loves interacting with the guests and meeting their needs.If you need anything onboard, she'll be there for you!


Stewardess – Jovana Stojiljkovic – Serbian
Born and raised in the capital of Serbia - Belgrade, Jovana never had too much contact with the sea in her early life but her hobbies and interests brought her into sailing.Her first job, that took her across the ocean, was the one as a photographer on cruise ships.
Once she experienced the life on the water, Jovana couldn't go back to an office job so she pursued a career in yachting in 2015.
She's a certified open water diver, a masseuse, a classic car enthusiast and also a tattoo artist.
Combining these skills, she's also enjoining working in hospitality and tourism industry as a stewardess and a tour guide and will always strive to provide her guests with best service.


Stewardess – Paula Novak – Croatian
A friendly, smiling face greeting you upon getting onboard that you will see often around the interior is Paula from Split (Croatia).
She graduated from administrative high school and got a degree in tourism.
She has plenty of boat experience as she worked on passenger ships and ferries before joining the yachting industry.
Through her job, she traveled the whole of Mediterannean coast and wants to see the rest of the world.
She is very fit and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors, hiking and bicycling.



Deckhand – Mario Munivrana – Croatian
Mario comes from Zadar, where he graduated from Maritime school.
Straight after graduating he decided to start climbing the ladder of the maritime industry by joining the Crystal Yacht Cruises in 2016.
Since then he’s learned a lot and he realized he truly enjoys working on yachts so he came to M/Y MERCURY in 2020.
He spends a lot of time being outside, seeking off-road trails, hiking and mountain climbing.
