Captain - Dionysis Pantazis (Greek)
Captain Dionysis is 41 years old and holds a Captain Class A’ degree from the “Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos”. He also holds certificates in First Aid, Medical Care Onboard Ship, RO-RO Passenger, Life Saving, Ship Security and Scuba Diving. With prior experience gained onboard tonnage tanker vessels, he moved on to luxury charter yachts where he has remained working for the past 12 years. He has been the captain of ELITE since she came on the charter market in 2020. Prior to taking to the helm of ELITE he was captain on the owner’s 30meter yacht for 3 years. Having extensive experience navigating the Greek Seas, Cpt. Dionysis will cruise with guests to special and unspoiled beaches, showing them some of the hidden gems of Greece. Dionysis’ leadership skills, combined with his attention to detail and dedicated persona, make for a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere onboard, with the guests at ease. He assures each charterer a unique and memorable experience onboard ELITE.

Chef – Haralabos Giatras Ritsos (Greek)
Haralabos “Babis” is 38 years old with over 16 years of experience working in the culinary industry with a chef’s degree from IEK LE MONDE. Babis has served as executive chef in various high-end restaurants such as the international establishment MILOS restaurant in Athens, ORO TORO as well as a selection of boutique hotels throughout Greece. Babis also has over 5 years of experience as chef onboard luxury charter and private yachts of 40 meters plus and for the past 4 years he has also been teaching culinary art at the Culinary Institute in Zakynthos. Babis is continuously looking to improve his art by researching, learning and practicing new techniques as well as plans to enroll for a Masters in Molecular Gastronomy. Babis’ focus is Mediterranean nouvelle cuisine with a modern presentation. The sea runs in his blood, coming from a Navy family and having grown up assisting his father, a Quartermaster, at sea from an early age. Combining both his love for cooking and the sea is the perfect marriage, and something Babis looks forward to undertaking once again onboard the ELITE. In his free time, Babis is in touch with various activities such as, the studying of cookbooks, model hobbies (in scale), technology, gadgets, biking, photography and has a great love for travel and coming in contact with new cultures and experiences.

Chief Stewardess– Ourania Poulopoulou (Greek)
Ourania is 44 years old with over years of experience working as a Chief Stewardess on board luxury charter yachts of 30, 40 and 60 meters. She began working from the age of 20 as a hostess in restaurants which eventually lead her to luxury charter yachts. Ourania is a dynamic, dedicated, and communicative person, who works well as a team player. She is an organizer by nature and has great enthusiasm and attention to detail with a drive and love for what she does. Her passion is interior design and when she is not onboard she is busy creating new spaces in houses and offices. She brings this love of décor and design with her onboard ELITE, continuously creating an ambiance of surprise for guests. Ourania is athletic in nature and in her free time she enjoys different sports including swimming. Ourania looks forward to welcoming guests on board the ELITE.

Sailor – Joel Adupe (Filipino)
Joel, 34 years old and has been working in the yachting industry onboard professional yachts of 30m+ for over 16 years. His prior seaman experience was gained on tanker ships, which is what brought him to Greece. Joel holds a small boat license as well as a certificate in RO-RO passenger. He is a very hard-working individual, with an AB rank, discreet and always attentive to guests’ needs. In his free time Joel enjoys spending time with his wife, playing chess, listening to music and watching tv.
